1. How do I join? Click on Contact/Join the Team. 2. How many people are on the team? In 2016, we ended with about 110 members. 3. Do I have to do triathlons? No! You can simply run, bike, mtn bike, swim, or do whatever you want. The focus of most team members is generally triathlons and running races. There is no pressure to do anything. We encourage people to try new things at their own pace. 4. I am nervous about the swim, any tips? Yes, we have a lot of experienced swimmers who can help. We have several coaches that can help and we run a swimming clinic in the winter to work on your breathing, swim stroke and overall technique. 5. Do you have practices? Yes, we organize some swim, run and bike practices throughout the year. It’s best to look at the calendar for the schedule. Many members pair up for training too based on schedules and ability levels. 6. Can I speak to someone before joining? Of course! If you know a team member, start there. Otherwise, contact greenbaymultisport@gmail.com and one of the Board members will contact you. 7. What are the demographics on the team? We are about a 50/50 split of male to female. We don’t store birthdates, but we range from about age 20 to 60. 8. I don't have a bike, what can I do to get one? We have many connections at the bike shops in the Green Bay area. Simply email the team and we will help you find a good shop for you. 9. Do I need a wetsuit to compete? Nope, but many races recommend them since the water can be chilly. We get a great discount via Xterra wetsuits and you can get a good wetsuit for under $150. 10.  Do you have social meetings too? Yes! We have an end-of-the-year party, team meetings (generally in the spring), cookouts, and  sometimes random meetings at bars or restaurants. Many people join the team because of the great social/friendship aspect.
